What you are welcome to do
- Read everything here for your own enjoyment.
- Share links to any page.
- Quote short passages in a review, article, class or post, with credit to Marshall Riggan and a link back to this site.
What needs permission first
Please email for written permission before you republish a whole story or a substantial part of one, print or distribute copies, translate or adapt the work, record it as audio, use it for any commercial purpose, or include it in a dataset used to train artificial intelligence systems. Requests from teachers and book groups are welcome.
Stories and memories
The short stories are works of fiction. Names, characters, places and events in them are the products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously, and any resemblance to real people or events is coincidental. The pieces marked as memories are the author’s personal recollections and reflect his own perspective.
Links to other websites
The site links to booksellers, social media and other websites that Marshall Riggan does not control. These links are provided for convenience; they are not affiliate links, and this site earns nothing from them. Purchases you make are between you and the retailer, under the retailer’s terms.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
